inspired by food photography blogs, interior design, coffee, falling leaves, naked trees, and serendipity in everyday life, these help preserve my sanity when work and stress get the better of me.
three weeks in berlin for summer school left me in awe of the city’s incandescent pink pipes, resplendent graffiti and tactfully painted murals on what’s left of the berlin wall. set this against a backdrop of unforgettable heart-wrenching history, aptly embodied by the Holocaust Memorial right smack in the middle of the city, berlin reminds me of life in its full unadulterated glory. that’s how life is, right? we’ve all got stories of our scars and birthmarks to tell, but these are what precisely make us beautiful. imperfectly beautiful.
i appreciate the little ironies in life now even more, the little things and the little dreams that shape each one of us, and our necessary indulgences and idiosyncracies that verily make us human. and i ambitiously hope that the little snippets here unify and encapsulate the rigour and vigour of life felicitously.
